ZION TRAIN - Thanks, thanks, thanks

“Thanks, thanks,
 We give you thanks
For all you have done
We are so blessed
Our souls have found rest
O Lord, we give you thanks”

With the lyrics of the song above, the stage was set for a worthwhile experience last Sunday at the Church of the First Born (The Third Temple).

The songs kept coming from one to another in low medium and high tempo depicting a thrilling rhythmic peculiarity.
To the brethren it was not only a unique fellowship session but also highly fulfilling one. A number of reasons accounted for this.

First, it was not planned or announced to any of the brethren before the day.

VIDEO: HILLSONG - A Beautiful Exchange

Trading Your life, For my offenses
For my redemption, You carried all the blame

Breaking the curse, Of our condition
Perfection took our place

When only love
Could make a way
You gave Your life
In a beautiful exchange

THE FEATURES OF THE EKKLESIA By Issac Arikawe - Part 3

"Any structure that functions outside a defined fundamental process and original intention of the designer is called malfunction"

"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and the teachers. Their responsibilities is to equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ."
                                                     Ephesians 4: 11-12

It is expedient for us to first consider the functional features of different Ekklesia before we can really understand what makes Jesus' kind or class of Ekklesia to be peculiar.   Also, it would be very important to put some things into consideration when looking at the feature of the Ekklesia.

THE REMNANT (Catching the Spirit of the Fathers) By Louis Eke – Part 3

One major problem that the Church has had to grapple with over the centuries since the exit of the foundational apostles, has  been  that  of  adhering  strictly  to  God's leadership requirements  and  order  as  exemplified by  the  apostles themselves, while at the same time struggling for relevance in a world whose ideals differ extensively from the ideals of the Church.

The lack of apostolic authority on the part of those who received the mantle from the foundational apostles, no doubt, accounted for the quenching of the apostolic flame soon after the first apostles left the stage. Man-made traditions and innovations replaced spirit-led activities, worship and fellowship. Christianity was reduced to mere ritual – a feature of the religions of this world. The life of God was shut out and the fire that was kindled by the apostles merely smouldered through the Dark Age, so-called because of the lost impact of Christianity, until it burst into flame again in the 1500s.

The Second Goat - Part 5 (Concluding Part)

God is ready to deliver the Jews so they may walk in holiness and righteousness before Him. However, the best He can do for Gentiles is to impute righteousness to them and carry them to Heaven to live in a mansion of gold where they never will be tempted again. This is what is taught today. Do you actually believe such an unscriptural, illogical fairy tale?

Notice how the Lord can remove sin from our personality.

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. (Zechariah 3:4)

MAN IN THE TEMPLE by Demola Akinyemi

God’s temple is his house, his dwelling place, the place of his manifestation, God no longer live in a house made with hands as in the days of old when he dwelled in the tabernacle of Moses or in  the tabernacle of David or even the temple of Solomon or the temple of Zerubabel. Ye are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” I Cor 6;19 -20

Today, millions of dollars are being spent in different places by religious organizations to build and to maintain the Physical building where God no longer dwells while little attention, little investment and little understanding exist about this temple called “The new creation man”

The ultimate temple of God is man as it is written in the book of revelation and God will dwell in no other place except in the heart of his people who are now growing to become a new habitation of God in the spirit.

VIDEO: MATT REDMAN - Endless Halleluyah

Enjoy this beautiful worship by Matt Redman.

                                                             "Endless Hallelujah"

When I stand before Your throne
Dressed in glory not my own
What a joy I'll sing of on that day
No more tears or broken dreams
Forgotten is the minor key
Everything as it was meant to be

[Chorus]
And we will worship, worship
Forever in Your presence we will sing
We will worship, worship You
And endless hallelujah to the King

WHY I WON'T GIVE TO YOUR CHURCH - An honest letter from a Millennial believer By ROBERT JEWE

I am a 23-year-old who refuses to give to your church.

My parents made me attend your Christmas program. I have to admit, it was quite a spectacle: real animals, fake snow, and lights that bathed the actors in red, green, and gold.
The production cost thousands of dollars. And gee-whiz, it was worth every penny!
By the way, if you're going to understand anything about our generation, it should be that we love sarcasm.

The truth is, I could not have been more put off by what you put on. It was gaudy and awkward. Your jokes were not funny, your script was predictable, and the only lights that mattered were the ones coming from the exit signs.
My generation loves technology yet we're minimalists. We're highly educated; we don't like to read. We're comfortable with uncertainty, I think. We're skeptical of corporations, and we're pretty much an expert on everything because of Google and Wikipedia.

The Remnant By Louis Eke – Part 2

God does nothing without purpose, and the purpose for which He does everything is eternal. He created all things for His own pleasure (Revelation 4:11) and the Crown of His creation in its entire entirety is man with whom God has always desired to have fellowship. The first man (Adam) could not maintain God's standard of holiness, which was the only guarantee for the kind of fellowship that God desired. But rather than abandon this original intention in creating man, God made a plan to bring the former back to his lost glory, where he would once again exercise dominion over the rest of His creation.
