In perfect alignment with this plan is the delivery of the Man-Child” by the travailing woman. As shown earlier (Revelation 17:18) that
the woman is the city (chosen and elected of God), who then is the Man-child?
What is the meaning of the delivery?
“And
there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the
moon under her feet, and upon her head, a crown of twelve stars.”-Rev 12:1.
The man of God, Oyelese, decoded the symbols with simplicity and
candour. The sun represents man as the source of life, which is the one who
gives the seed into an ovum. The moon, said he, “stands for a woman (or the
female gender), who broods over the seed or as a gestator, incubating the seed
until it is completely formed and matures for delivery.”
His explanation however included a clear distinction between a male
or female grown/nurtured in things of the Spirit and the one without. To him,
God places high premium on those who were spiritually awakened and diligently
submissive to the life of righteousness. In other words, those who consciously
surrendered their will unto God in order to please Him were usually His heartthrob
for they no longer love “their lives even unto death”. The coming together of
such males and females “produces life (that is Christ-like) in abundance.”
The product of such a conjugation was a spiritual Church that could
draw light from God and thereby able to sustain life in the spirit. This,
Oyelese, contrasted to persons who could be alive physically but spiritually
dead. Like the first Adam, he noted, still lived in the physical for years
after disobeying God, but was spiritually dead from the point he ate of the
forbidden fruit.
“There are many sons of God presently “carrying’ pregnancies of
spiritual essence, and for whom God has also raised mid-wives (certain
teachers, apostles and ministers of God) to assist them toward successful
delivery.
Without mincing words, the pastor declared “the Man-Child is (and
are) the over comers”. Expectedly, Satan struggled hard against the bringing
forth of the man-child (Rev. 12;1-6) but failed in all his bidding as the
man-child was not only delivered safely but also caught up to God’s throne
where, Satan cannot reach him.
Revelation 3; 21,” To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.”
Jesus Christ was He whom
God Almighty had given authority to rule over all creation and “Christ wants to
share His authority and ruler ship with the over comers” hence He cautioned the
church in Laodicea and others saying “take heed that no one takes your own
crown.
Harping on the need for Christians and others to “arise and be
awakened unto righteousness, Oyelese remarked that it was getting too late now
for anyone to remain in sinful lifestyle, adding that the times were delicate
and perilous.
The revelation of Jesus Christ was the testimonies of the prophets
of God from Genesis, to the last book of the bible. It is also important to
note that when God said in Genesis chapter 1;26 that “let us make man in our
image and after our likeness, and let them have dominion over . . . .” what He
had in mind was the image and nature of Christ Jesus, who triumphed over the
devil by being fully obedient to God, the Father, all through.
In the light of this, the man of God revealed that after His
resurrection, Christ ascended to heaven for a coronation ceremony wherein He
was given the throne, scepter, the crown of glory and all power and authority
over all creation. And that at the mention of His name all things on earth,
beneath and above the earth must bow.
The authority of rulership handed over to Christ was what David saw
ahead of time hence he declared in Psalm 110 from the first verse “The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at My
right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion rule thou
in the midst of thine enemies.” Via the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God
fulfilled many prophecies of old, averred Oyelese, noting for example, Psalm
2;7-8 “I will declare the decree, the
Lord has said unto me thou art My Son, this day have I begotten thee.” Ask of Me and I shall give thee the heathen
for thine inheritance, and the uttermost part of the earth for thy possession.”
In line with God’s end time plan, the overcomers or those who endured to the
end had been predestined to reign with Christ having been baptized unto His
death, resurrection and coronation. The redemptive work (or role) of Jesus
Christ was not just to remove sin but also to take away the sinful nature,
thereby giving to the sons of God immortality in place of the corruptible or
sinful nature. “The sons of God don’t die” remarked Oyelese, adding that once
the redemption exercise was completed in you, (spirit, soul and body), you gain
eternal life. “We shall not all sleep but we shall be transformed . . . . .
The rod of strength shall not depart from Zion, thus sayeth the
Lord . . . for it is written “The Lord
hath sworn and will not repent “thou art a priest unto Me forever after the
order of Melchizedek. And the book of Isaiah, chapter 66, the seventh
verse, serves as a prophetic spring board for the emergence of the man-child.
“Before she travailed, she brought forth,
before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child”. This
“travailing” simply means the process involved in getting a believer in Christ
to mature into the nature of Christ in full measure. Galatians 4:19 makes it explicit “My little children of whom I travail in
birth again until Christ be formed in you.
Above all, the man of God
gave four points as the core objectives of the two-day seminar viz;
To reveal the message of the seven seals aimed at preparing the
sons of God for manifestation;
Declare that the seventh seal was now being broken in order to get
the church ready for the feast of Tabernacles;
To sensitize brethren, to the on-going “processing”, of the sons of
God; and warn the nations of the great warfare ahead by which the forces of
darkness would be displaced and cast down.
Concluded.
