Jesus’ Intention for the Church By Isaac Arikawe - Part 2

A true church is one whose revolutionary impact is first
felt within her immediate community.

"There was a believer in Joppa named Tabitha (which in Greek in Dorcas) she was always doing kind things for others and helping the poor”
(Acts 9:46)

Without doubt, Jesus of Nazareth still remains the most popular and influential personality that ever lived on the surface of the earth. Many people in the world have either at one time or the other heard about Him. This does not necessarily mean all those who have heard about Him believed in the work of His sacrifice for humanity, but somehow they must have heard about His name.

BETWEEN CHRIST AND THE FALSE VINE by Yemi Obideyi

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5  I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:1-6)

One of the farthest depths on earth is the field of the riches of God’s word denominated in the scriptures- Genesis to Revelation.
From the old to the New Testament the bible captures the story of creation from inception, the role of man as the focal point or agent of God to tend and manage creation in line with God’s end time purpose for the earth.

VIDEO: HILLSONG - The Stand

This is the lyrics of one of Hillsong's best "The Stand". It is an intense powerful worship song. Enjoy

You stood before creation
Eternity within Your hand
You spoke the earth into motion
My soul now to stand

You stood before my failure
Carried the Cross for my shame
My sin weighed upon Your shoulders
My soul now to stand

REPORT: “When the 7th Angel begins to sound” – Part 4

It was never God’s desire for the Israelites (Christians) to live with their enemies (sinful nature) in the land of promise (Zion). In view of this, Pastor Oyelese believed that migration towards Tabernacle feast or Phase implied attainment of a new nature as a precursor. Given the premium placed on the tabernacle feast as the ultimate goal of any purposeful christian, it is nonetheless second to none as the spiritual barometer in   identifying with the death, burial, resurrection, ascension and glorification of Jesus Christ. Oyelese harped on the need to embrace this transition from one phase to another noting, that, by scriptural doctrines, it  was never  an option but a requirement for all who desire to please God. It was clear from the Apostle’s viewpoint that God mandated us to have faith of Christ and not just faith in Christ.

Unraveling the fullness of Salvation within the feasts of the Lord - Douglas Arukwe - Part 4

THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

“And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.'" Lev 23:6-8

The feast of the unleavened bread speaks of the putting to death sin in a believer’s life. A believer who left Egypt (sin) must identify with the cross of Christ.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I, who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Gal 2:20-21

VIDEO: Once again By MATT REDMAN

ONCE AGAIN

Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice
You became nothing
Poured out to death
Many times, I've wondered at Your gift of life
I'm in that place once again
I'm in that place once again

REPORT: THE BIRTH OF THE MAN-CHILD – Unveiling the Sons of God (Part 2)

In perfect alignment with this plan is the delivery of the Man-Child” by the travailing woman. As shown earlier (Revelation 17:18) that the woman is the city (chosen and elected of God), who then is the Man-child? What is the meaning of the delivery?

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head, a crown of twelve stars.”-Rev 12:1.

THE SECOND GOAT - Part 4

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2:10)

Putting self-will to death requires the special help of the Lord. In order to kill the self-will and rebellion in us the Lord brings us ino suffering. Our task is to be patient in our tribulation, waiting continually on the Lord for the strength to get through each day. Sometimes we are in the Lord's prison for many years.

ESCAPE FROM RELIGION - FLEE TO THE MOUNTAIN by Demola Akinyemi

Let us start by looking at instructions of Jesus in Luke 17; 26-33 in respect of the days that we live in.

26} And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. {27} They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. {28} Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builder; {29} But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. {30}Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. {17:31} In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. {32} Remember Lot’s wife. {33} Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose.

We have been given the code to decipher what the end of these age is going to look like and what we should do, The end of this age will be a time of reckoning when God will Judge men for their wickedness, violence and corruption. The instrument of judgment will come to the wicked suddenly and surprisingly like a thief in the night in the mist of man’s preoccupation with the ‘usual” such as business activities, social and family activities, essential activities such as eating, drinking, building, celebrating and a host of other activities that put pressure on man and preoccupies the mind distracting man from the essence of his creation which is to seek God, find him and be conformed into his image in spirit and truth.

REPORT:THE BIRTH OF THE MANCHILD – Unveiling the Sons of God Part 1

Following refreshing outpouring of the riches of the knowledge of God’s kingdom, it is becoming certain that the sheets of veil upon the book of Revelation, which incidentally is the last book of the bible, are now giving way.

At a seminar held recently at the Church of the Apocalypse, Surulere, Lagos, South Western part of Nigeria, a comprehensive diagnosis of the “Man-Child” was undertaken. In itself, the theme of the two-day event “The Birth of The Man-Child” arouses curiosity much as it is suggestive of something deeper than what superficial Christianity could offer or cherish. Again, drawing from the well of (scriptural) wealth in Revelation, the twelfth chapter, it was clear from the on-set that the seminar was heading in the direction of the “unusual”.

What is Happening in the Church? By Louis E Eke – Part 1

The above question is on the lips of so many children of God today.  Even nonbelievers, who have come to acknowledge that the body of Christ is associated with what the Lord Himself said of the Church, “You are the light of the world”, now wonder what is happening to the light, especially in the face of the numerous scandals and other hideous acts that are frequently reported as taking place in many churches.

The Origin and Meaning of The Church? By Isaac Arikawe – Part 1

“The true measure of a living church is not in setting denominational goals but in creating generational relevance.”

“The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.”
1Corinthians 12:15

The question, “What is church?” is one that every believer must have an accurate answer to. Sometimes the exact meaning of a word can be easily understood if it is traced to its root meaning in another language. The word “Church” is not originally an English word; it was only translated into English language from Greek. The Greek word for Church is “Ekklesia,” and the word also has two meanings: “Called out” and “Assembly.” The Roman government for example had their own Ekklesia, which always had the final say over every issue that could not be resolved by other parties. These assemblies were not religious establishments but they had the authority to approve and disapprove claims, proposals, ideas, policies, budget and other issues relating to welfare of the people of their kingdom.

REPORT: “When the 7th Angel begins to sound” – Part 3

Pastor Ademola Akinyemi reasoned that failure to transit with God “automatically results in the loss of spiritual strength, sight and savvy”. That under such a condition, the believer “begins to experience luke-warmness, regression, and spiritual death. He averred that the time had come for Christians to leave behind the elementary things of faith and reach out for that which is ahead. “You must die to certain things when you move from one dimension of Christ to another’’. He added that for those who were truly migrating, such things as the onions, cucumber and delicacies of Egypt automatically became unattractive. This again raises the question on “how do you know who is migrating?”

Unraveling the fullness of Salvation within the feasts of the Lord - Douglas Arukwe - Part 3

                              THE FEAST OF PASSOVER

This feast holds special significance to Israel and the Church at large in that it is the beginning feast and a major connecting line to the final feast of tabernacles. It holds towering historical and spiritual interest to believers at large. It is a feast many have read about in scripture because of the fascinating story, but I dare say, the major spiritual import has not been fully comprehended by the Church. This foundation feast is more than a story; it is a spiritual reality which points to Christ. Unearthing its rich import lies with understanding the path that leads to the unveiling of Christ. The journey to the fullness of Christ begins with this feast.

The Second goat - Part 3

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify [put to death] the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:13)

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (Hebrews 10:11)

Killing and Then Removing Sin

The new covenant attacks sin in three ways: by forgiving it, by killing it and finally by removing it. The removing of sin from the creation is one of the ultimate goals of the Christian redemption.

The grace of God in forgiving sin is so well understood there is no need to discuss it further. The forgiveness of sin is not the unique benefit of the new covenant because sin was already forgiven by the shedding of the blood of bulls and goats under the Law of Moses.

ESTABLISHING THE KINGDOM WITHIN by Demola Akinyemi

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him. 1KING 1:5

The Kingdom of God arrived on earth since the day Jesus step on Planet earth and all the moves of God since the time of John is to establish God’s kingdom in the hearts of men through the preaching of his word and the ministration of the spirit but the battle continues till date with the flesh seeking to forestall the establishment of the kingdom of God.
