The Features of The Ekklesia by Isaac Arikawe - Part 4
In verse 16, Peter answered after a long time of general
silence:
"You are the Messiah (the Christ), the Son of the living God."
Before we consider the principles in the response of
Jesus, let us compare the responses of
the public in verses 13 and 16.The public considered Him to be a
prophet- someone who had been sent to them as a mouthpiece of God. Peter
however recognized Him as the Christ (the anointed), the messiah, the One all
Israel and the world had been waiting for, although they never knew.
The Remnant By Louis Eke – Part 4
Another
error that signalled a deviation from the apostolic truth was the special place
given to Mary, Jesus' mother, by Irenaeus in his attempt to debunk the false
claims of the Gnostics who maintained that for God to take human form and come
down to planet earth, was impossible (being a Spirit).
Inasmuch as
these men could be credited for putting up some form of defence against the
false teachings of the day, it is noteworthy
that some of them equally sowed the seeds of error that sooner than
later robbed the Church of its power and caused her to relapse into religion and,
eventually, the Dark Age.

ZION TRAIN - Thanks, thanks, thanks
“Thanks,
thanks,
We give you thanks
For
all you have done
We
are so blessed
Our
souls have found rest
O
Lord, we give you thanks”
With the lyrics of the song above, the stage was set for a worthwhile experience last Sunday at the Church of the First Born (The Third Temple).
The songs kept coming from one to another in low medium and high tempo depicting a thrilling rhythmic peculiarity.
To the brethren it was not only a unique
fellowship session but also highly fulfilling one. A number of reasons
accounted for this.
First,
it was not planned or announced to any of the brethren before the day.
VIDEO: HILLSONG - A Beautiful Exchange
Trading Your life, For my offenses
For my redemption, You carried all the blame
Breaking the curse, Of our condition
Perfection took our place
When only love
Could make a way
You gave Your life
In a beautiful exchange

THE FEATURES OF THE EKKLESIA By Issac Arikawe - Part 3
"Any structure that functions outside a defined fundamental process and original intention of the designer is called malfunction"
"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and the teachers. Their responsibilities is to equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ."
Ephesians 4: 11-12
It is expedient for us to first consider the functional
features of different Ekklesia before we can really understand what makes
Jesus' kind or class of Ekklesia to be peculiar. Also, it would be very important to put some
things into consideration when looking at the feature of the Ekklesia.

THE REMNANT (Catching the Spirit of the Fathers) By Louis Eke – Part 3
One major
problem that the Church has had to grapple with over the centuries since the
exit of the foundational apostles, has
been that of
adhering strictly to
God's leadership requirements and order
as exemplified by the
apostles themselves, while at the same time struggling for relevance in
a world whose ideals differ extensively from the ideals of the Church.
The lack of
apostolic authority on the part of those who received the mantle from the
foundational apostles, no doubt, accounted for the quenching of the apostolic
flame soon after the first apostles left the stage. Man-made traditions and innovations
replaced spirit-led activities, worship and fellowship. Christianity was
reduced to mere ritual – a feature of the religions of this world. The life of
God was shut out and the fire that was kindled by the apostles merely
smouldered through the Dark Age, so-called because of the lost impact of
Christianity, until it burst into flame again in the 1500s.

The Second Goat - Part 5 (Concluding Part)
God
is ready to deliver the Jews so they may walk in holiness and righteousness
before Him. However, the best He can do for Gentiles is to impute righteousness
to them and carry them to Heaven to live in a mansion of gold where they never
will be tempted again. This is what is taught today. Do you actually believe
such an unscriptural, illogical fairy tale?
Notice how the Lord can remove sin from our personality.
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him,
saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I
have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with
change of raiment. (Zechariah 3:4)

MAN IN THE TEMPLE by Demola Akinyemi
God’s temple is his house, his dwelling place, the place of his manifestation, God no longer live in a house made with hands as in the days of old when he dwelled in the tabernacle of Moses or in the tabernacle of David or even the temple of Solomon or the temple of Zerubabel. Ye are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” I Cor 6;19 -20
Today, millions of dollars are being spent in different places by religious organizations to build and to maintain the Physical building where God no longer dwells while little attention, little investment and little understanding exist about this temple called “The new creation man”
The ultimate temple of God is man as it is written in the book of revelation and God will dwell in no other place except in the heart of his people who are now growing to become a new habitation of God in the spirit.

VIDEO: MATT REDMAN - Endless Halleluyah
Enjoy this beautiful worship by Matt Redman.
"Endless Hallelujah"
When I stand before Your throne
Dressed in glory not my own
What a joy I'll sing of on that day
No more tears or broken dreams
Forgotten is the minor key
Everything as it was meant to be
[Chorus]
And we will worship, worship
Forever in Your presence we will sing
We will worship, worship You
And endless hallelujah to the King
Dressed in glory not my own
What a joy I'll sing of on that day
No more tears or broken dreams
Forgotten is the minor key
Everything as it was meant to be
[Chorus]
And we will worship, worship
Forever in Your presence we will sing
We will worship, worship You
And endless hallelujah to the King

WHY I WON'T GIVE TO YOUR CHURCH - An honest letter from a Millennial believer By ROBERT JEWE
I am a 23-year-old who refuses to give to your church.
My parents
made me attend your Christmas program. I have to admit, it was quite a
spectacle: real animals, fake snow, and lights that bathed the actors in red,
green, and gold.
The production cost thousands of dollars. And gee-whiz, it was
worth every penny!
By the way,
if you're going to understand anything about our generation, it should be that
we love sarcasm.
My
generation loves technology yet we're minimalists. We're highly educated; we
don't like to read. We're comfortable with uncertainty, I think. We're
skeptical of corporations, and we're pretty much an expert on everything
because of Google and Wikipedia.
AUDIO: Despising the shame - Part 3 by WOLE OLAKUNLE
This is the concluding part of this message of life with its core
emphasis on the beginning and ending of the Christian journey.
We hope you have been blessed. Please, let us have your comments
and feedback. Thank you.

The Remnant By Louis Eke – Part 2
God does
nothing without purpose, and the purpose for which He does everything is
eternal. He created all things for His own pleasure (Revelation 4:11) and the Crown of His
creation in its entire entirety is man with whom God has always desired to have
fellowship. The first man (Adam) could not maintain God's standard of holiness,
which was the only guarantee for the kind of fellowship that God desired. But
rather than abandon this original intention in creating man, God made a plan to
bring the former back to his lost glory, where he would once again exercise
dominion over the rest of His creation.

Jesus’ Intention for the Church By Isaac Arikawe - Part 2
A
true church is one whose revolutionary impact is first
felt within her
immediate community.
"There was a
believer in Joppa named Tabitha (which in Greek in Dorcas) she was always doing
kind things for others and helping the poor”
(Acts 9:46)
Without doubt, Jesus of Nazareth still remains the most
popular and influential personality that ever lived on the surface of the
earth. Many people in the world have either at one time or the other heard
about Him. This does not necessarily mean all those who have heard about Him
believed in the work of His sacrifice for humanity, but somehow they must have
heard about His name.

BETWEEN CHRIST AND THE FALSE VINE by Yemi Obideyi
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:1-6)
One of the farthest depths on earth is the field of the riches of God’s word denominated in the scriptures- Genesis to Revelation.
From the old to the New Testament the bible captures the story of creation from inception, the role of man as the focal point or agent of God to tend and manage creation in line with God’s end time purpose for the earth.

VIDEO: HILLSONG - The Stand
This is the lyrics of one of Hillsong's best "The Stand". It is an intense powerful worship song. Enjoy
You stood before creation
Eternity within Your hand
You spoke the earth into motion
My soul now to stand
You stood before my failure
Carried the Cross for my shame
My sin weighed upon Your shoulders
My soul now to stand
REPORT: “When the 7th Angel begins to sound” – Part 4
It was never God’s desire for the Israelites (Christians) to live with their enemies (sinful nature) in the land of promise (Zion). In view of this, Pastor Oyelese believed that migration towards Tabernacle feast or Phase implied attainment of a new nature as a precursor. Given the premium placed on the tabernacle feast as the ultimate goal of any purposeful christian, it is nonetheless second to none as the spiritual barometer in identifying with the death, burial, resurrection, ascension and glorification of Jesus Christ. Oyelese harped on the need to embrace this transition from one phase to another noting, that, by scriptural doctrines, it was never an option but a requirement for all who desire to please God. It was clear from the Apostle’s viewpoint that God mandated us to have faith of Christ and not just faith in Christ.
Unraveling the fullness of Salvation within the feasts of the Lord - Douglas Arukwe - Part 4
THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
“And on the fifteenth day of the same month is
the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened
bread. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no
customary work on it. But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord
for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no
customary work on it.'" Lev 23:6-8
The feast of the unleavened bread speaks of the
putting to death sin in a believer’s life. A believer who left Egypt (sin) must
identify with the cross of Christ.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no
longer I, who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in
the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for
me.” Gal 2:20-21

ONCE AGAIN
Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice
You became nothing
Poured out to death
Many times, I've wondered at Your gift of life

REPORT: THE BIRTH OF THE MAN-CHILD – Unveiling the Sons of God (Part 2)
In perfect alignment with this plan is the delivery of the Man-Child” by the travailing woman. As shown earlier (Revelation 17:18) that
the woman is the city (chosen and elected of God), who then is the Man-child?
What is the meaning of the delivery?
“And
there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the
moon under her feet, and upon her head, a crown of twelve stars.”-Rev 12:1.
THE SECOND GOAT - Part 4
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2:10)
Putting self-will to death requires the special help of the Lord. In order to kill the self-will and rebellion in us the Lord brings us ino suffering. Our task is to be patient in our tribulation, waiting continually on the Lord for the strength to get through each day. Sometimes we are in the Lord's prison for many years.
